Job Description
The Department of Urology at the University of Florida is seeking qualified applicants for a full-time Pediatric Nurse Practitioner/ARNP. this individual will work under the supervision of the Division Chief for Pediatric Urology. The PNP/ARNP will assist the attending surgeons in the development, implementation and evaluation of patient care management for Pediatric Urology patients. This will include making patient rounds, contributing to decisions for daily care, writing orders, interacting with consultants, and facilitation and coordination of therapeutic and diagnostic tests and procedures. The PNP/ARNP will have a high level of public contact with patients and their families, outside physicians, Shands Hospital staff. The position will provide a high level of autonomy and extensive orientation/education will be provided. The successful applicant will be welcomed as an integral and independent member of the care team. Certification as an advanced registered nurse practitioner in accordance with Chapter 464, Florida Statues. Salary range: $49,759.18-$77,711.36 yearly.
