NSG6020 – Physical Assessment: Demonstrate proficiency in performing comprehensive health assessments throughout the life span. Evaluate system/health problems based on episodic health issues. Apply comprehensive data bases including health history, physical examination, and appropriate diagnostic testing. Ability to critically analyze and interpret risk assessment of the client including the assessment of lifestyle, functional health, nutrition and other risk factors. Identify signs and symptoms of health risks and alterations. Establish differential diagnoses based on the assessment of the client, laboratory data and other appropriate diagnostic data. Perform and interpret laboratory and diagnostic tests. Ability to perform comprehensive physical assessments with consideration of age, religion, life circumstances, culture, ethnicity, and developmental variations.
